![]() I have made sure that the Xbox App and Console Companion playback output is supposed to go to my headphones. All other Steam games work as they should. I have tried purchasing State of Decay on Steam and playing on there, but it also does not work as it has to connect to Microsoft. All other desktop sounds, Steam games, Youtube videos, etc play sound so I'm thinking it's an issue with the Microsoft Xbox App/Console Companion for PC. But once getting to the menu or in-game, there is no more sound playing. Strangely enough, when I launch State of Decay, I can hear the startup sounds that play with the "Undead Labs" and "Microsoft Studios" logos that appear on the screen. Wasteland 3 and State of Decay 2 are two games I have tried to play that do not have any in-game sound. For example, "Golf with Friends" works fine. My sound used to work fine for the games I played on Xbox Game Pass but all of a sudden, it only works for some random games.
